Publicidade é a exposición de medios de balde para o seu produto ou servizo. Relacións públicas (PR) é a planificación global ea estratexia para xestionar os medios de comunicación. A publicidade é de pago para promocionar o seu produto ou servizo. Dicir, por exemplo, ten unha banca de limonada. A súa estratexia de PR é usar a palabra da boca para promocionar o seu produto. Co pouco diñeiro extra que ten, contratar o seu irmán para publicar panfletos (publicidade). O tempo medio, un corredor de sede, sen diñeiro e corre por dar a ela unha bebida fresca na casa. Porque é o editor do seu xornal local, o día seguinte á súa banca de limonada é ben visible na primeira páxina. Booms de empresas. Isto é publicidade.

Identificar os seus obxectivos; saber exactamente o que quere alcanzar.

Cando é claro sobre os seus obxectivos, pode explicalo las a outros. Se os outros a entender o que precisa, eles serán máis capaces de axudar. O que está máis clara sobre os seus obxectivos o máis probable será a creación dun plan que pode realizala los.

Antes de asistir a reunións ou eventos, Eu establecer obxectivos. Eu decido o que me gustaría realizar. Como as reunións adoitan ter axendas específicas, Identifica-me o que me gustaría alcanzar. Establecer os meus obxectivos me axuda cando finalmente atopa-se coas persoas; axuda o meu foco, subconscientemente manter na pista.

THIS IS BIG!

I’ve had such an incredible month: speaking for Tony Robbins at the Ultimate Business Mastery Summit along w/Jay Abraham and Stephen Covey. It was an incredible opportunity.

Máis, I was featured in the Marin Independent Journal (http://www.marinij.com/lifestyles/ci_12033656) for my TV show: Messages of Hope and then, to top it off I was a guest on The View From the Bay (http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=view_from_the_bay/women_entrepreneurs&id=6787217) All of this is during the recession economy.

My point is thisuse whatever is happening in the media to your advantage. For instance, if the media wants to scare us about the economymy question to you is: how can you be an expert on the down economy?

PUBLICITY IN A DOWN ECONOMY

I’ve been enjoying teaching Crash Courses in Publicity throughout this first quarter and am very sensitive to how important it is to market in today’s down economy. Change any story you have to how to (fill in the blank) in today’s economy. This is so essential for success right now. I was just featured on Daytime TV in Tampa w/over 90 syndicated markets. My whole topic was about marketing in a down economy. This is the media topic that’s winning people over the most. On a more positive notetraveling around the country I can tell you that people are spending money. Please know that media is controlling the fear. You must not buy into it! Keep marketing and stay forward in front of people!

THE DAY AFTER…

Well, two things that have been on my mind in terms of brandingone is Sarah Palin being punked by a Canadian radio show before Election Day.  Her answers were again proving that she has no idea about how to behave herself in foreign matters and the answers weren’t even discerning enough to verify the call and do some further questioning.  Her answers were childlikeincluding the little girl giggles and I almost could feel the toss of her hair as she made plans to go hunting with the prime minister.  She didn’t even listen closely enough to tell he was joking about a numbers of items.

On the positive side, Obama’s speech was like one we haven’t seen in a long timeclose to the heart, inspiring — it moved me and the people around me to tears. His acknowledgement of John McCain was gracious and kind. His love for his wife, children, and family were obvious!  We’re so lucky to have an authentic leader of our nation.  Authenticity is the key word here and it is reflected in every move of Obama’s physical presence, commanding speeches, and presence. Branding is best when it’s authentic and matches who you are. John McCain’s concession speech was indicative of the man he used to be. The one we had heard so much aboutmore commanding and kindall at the same time. Quite a few people around me said if had he spoken more like that during his candidacy perhaps he might have won the presidency.

This to me is the lesson about branding. Be authentic to who you are.  McCain wavered from who he was and his branding strategy was all over the place. He tried many things and none of them worked including his vice presidential choice, his Saturday Night LIve appearance, and his smiling more as he did more media interviews (an obvious change in his behavior and a sure sign of extensive media coaching). He moved away from who he was, probably listened to too many advisors and his branding got mixed up.

O tramo final

Como chegamos ao tramo final da campaña electoral, Dou comigo a pensar sobre a palabracambioe como "chamar a atención". Foi interesante ver a campaña e as tácticas de cada un usou para seren notados – incluíndo Obama elixir un vice-presidencial experimentado compañeiro de chapa de McCain e escoller unha muller bastante nova. Recibe preguntou en grandes emisoras de radio en todo o país para marcar comentarios, o máis importante – Tina Fey é a imitación de Sarah Palin axudar ou danar a súa? Eu realmente penso que era bo para a Sarah a ir no programa Saturday Night Live e rir coas persoas que estaban rindo dela. Aínda, unha vez, ela demostrou que realmente non saben falar sen guións e discursos escritos por ela. Eu non creo que iso a axudou a conquistar os electores e só fixo a xente rirem máis no seu! Ben, tanto para chamar a atención de forma positiva. Vostede arranxar ambas as campañas tiñan palabras clave durante todo o tempo ... Obama foi paracambio; McCain e Palin usado (e overused) disidente.

Se é propietario dunha empresa e quere ser notado ... eu recomendo, como na política, facer cousas que son fóra do común. Amosar ás persoas que están rindo con eles para que eles non van rir de ti. Buscar unha palabra que resume a súa empresa que a xente pode usar cando pensar en ti. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

I was recently speaking in Calgary Canada for eWomenNetwork. It was so interesting to see the difference in the economic outlook of Canadians vs. The Americans. They understand the immediate importance of investing in promotion and marketing. They understand that even though the economy is suffering a bitit’s so important to utilize and implement the power of publicity.  I also had some amazing talks with people about McCain vs. Obama.  Every Canadian agreed that if Obama doesn’t winwe’ll all be in trouble. I joked that if Obama didn’t win I might become the newest Canadian.
